You should read my books Endgame 2 - Values and Endgame 3 - Accurate Local Evaluation to learn the basic terminology and theory of miai counting aka modern endgame theory. Instead trying to learn it from Sensei's Library is very insufficient and partially flawed as to long sequences. Alternatively, study thermography if you want to go the hard way without understanding the easy way;)
