I am somewhat surprised because advertisement of surgical implants is highly regulated around the world and may even be illegal in some places. Accepting this sponsor appears similar to having liquor, tobacco, pharmaceutical, prostitution, gambling, firearms or pornography sponsors. I'd have thought that this could be considered too controversial to get into, especially considering that the goal is not really to hold one event and dish out the prize money but to promote women's chess worldwide

Lol. There are so many incomprehensible things happening in this world that this news no longer surprises me ... I think that everyone has the right to cosmetic improvements and there is no need to judge anyone.
