Leelago and Katago on Mac M1 chip

Post by dodom »

Is it the case that in the near future neither leelago nor katago will take advantage of mac m1 GPU or neural engine capabilities. So running them on a M1 would be like running them on a CPU with no dedicated GPU associated?

Thanks for replies.

M1 is a great chip and must be supported.
The M1X and M2 too.

Bump. I believe that Homebrew for katago works on the M1, though I have no idea if it’s optimized.

I wonder how fast M1 Pro and M1 Max will be (visits per second). Any guesses?

I don’t know exactly how many visits per second we will get, but I’m sure it will be much faster / extreme fast.
