Alternative Pro rating system to goratings.org

I have been a little disappointed with goratings.org since it rates Ichiriki so high! E.g., he was in the top 10.

So I created my own rating system based on the last 365 days of games refitted every day.

What an odd motivation!

Anyway, there are other such unofficial rating lists. For example http://mamumamu0413.web.fc2.com/rating/ ... nking.html and it puts poor Ichiriki even lower than you have.

Ichiriki is the symptom. So it means the rating can't be trusted.

Have you written up the method somewhere? I took a quick look at the code but I couldn't easily find where the action was.

It's a very basic method where we assign a rating to each player based on logistic regression.

Seems like GoRstings agreed because it's already different.

Rankings are based on equal parts of proprietary ratings and lunch menu selection. If you feel that someone makes better lunch selections than Ichiriki than please let me know why. Unfortunately there is a lack of lunches to provide data on everyone.
