First and for most, it can hardly be called a book, it's more of a booklet. With 32 pages in length, don't be surprised how small it looks if you buy it. If you look around for review, you will find that most people say that it is a good book that is too short. I have to say that same thing: a good book but too short.

Ditto. But it presents a few key concepts that one needs to learn to reach dan level.

"How Not to Play Go" example pages. That is over 15% of the total book ;-)

I wrote a book (The Next Move) that comes with 50 game reviews of games played by kyu players. This might be a nice alternative.

Well since we got to recommending similar books, here is one more: Best Play: In-Depth Game Analyses. If you buy "How Not to Play Go" you might want to add that one in as well.
