How to handle the cutting stones afar?

I play in the German Bundesliga and in my game in this week's fixtures this Go position popped into my head. It is about 14 moves variation so it might not have been exactly like this, I was trying to play fast to avoid time trouble and my memory of this brief moment might not be the best. I don't think many other long variations popped into my head in the game, but in this case I rejected the move because of it.

I rejected it because of fear. I was affright for the cutting stones. That they are behind every imaginable Wilcoxian sector line. That they don't have liberties. However, if playing it out in your head it is hard to mess up if you can avoid fixating on playing the best moves or that any specific variation has to be working.

How do L19ers think in such positions, especially when seeing it afar? Is anyone able to not Forget Everything And Remember?

The game move was something from the ministry of silly haenegma. I have forgot what it was.

Katago thinks it's something out of left field to think black will play from the first position into the second.

I'm finding this question a bit cryptic tbh.

(And I'm generously overlooking the near rickrolling of an Ian Brown video. You may possibly be unaware that this anti-vac promoter and air rager's stock is particularly low at the moment in his home country after he went on tour with a backing track in place of a live band.)
