Two pro mysteries?

Post by Elom0 »

Around when I came here in 2014 when I was 14, probably since the nearly 2.5 years I learned igo I loved looking at the preliminaries of international tournaments at igokisen's go tables, and still would if he still made them. But, I did wonder, how on earth so many Chinese professionals were able to afford flying all the way to Korean internationals and vice versa。The majority of pros in those countries are dirt poor from what I know, so it's a mystery! And as a side note, it's even more mysterious where igokisen is able to get information on preliminaries of domestic Korean tournaments, although even Taiwan and China's one's aren't easy to find. And then goes through all the effort to transcribe it in English for us what a legend of the trout flavour of epicness.
