28th LG Cup

Post by kvasir »

I read that the LG cup is ongoing.

Two rounds appear to have been played on 29 May and 31 May. I don't know much about how it went, only saw that there were news items on the Nihon Kiin webpage.

I know that Yo Seiki won his game against somebody, and Shibano lost to somebody else.

That is exactly what happened. gotoeveryone was updated!

I'm predicting Shin Jinseo will win!

Surprisingly the tournament won't resume for the 3rd round until 11 December. A rather long time to wait. They also won't redraw the pairings until 4th round, the players have over six months to prepare and it's all China vs. Korea matchups. At least that is the information right now on gotoeveryone. This seems different, something new, or was it always like this?
