What has Go done for you outside of Go?

Because of go, I went to Beijing last summer! And now that I've just come back, I'm contemplating going back there because I like the craziness of that city. Maybe I will even try living there in a few years, which would make go genuinely life-changing for me .

not at all, I started to take lessons, and one was scheduled at 8h (a saturday, gasp!)

On a more serious note, I think I've became a bit more manipulative with people, using leaning attacks to make them move in the wanted direction. Usefull skill, but I feel bad when I think about it.

Oh, and it made me stop the cello (in conjunction with a really bad teacher). I haven't yet decided wether it's good or bad, though.

No, simply push the discussion on one side, get them to defend using an argument, then reuse their own argument in another discussion involving them.
