In our game Tabemasu was always two steps ahead, somehow a frightening experience :)

Congratulations to Magicwand for an exciting win over Violence.

As always the current standings can be found at this address, but I'll summarize here.

We are now done with the quarterfinals in the winners' bracket (round 6a), and here are the semifinal matchups for round 7a (due September 23):

Magicwand - Shaddy
HermanHiddema - Tabemasu

Meanwhile, I have seeded the four losers from 6a into the losers' bracket; I made sure to avoid rematches from the winners' bracket but otherwise chose randomly. The matchups for round 6c are:

daniel_the_smith - Violence
lindentree - Jonas
Araban - DeadTired
Dusk Eagle/Actorios - freegame

Note that these games are supposed to be played by September 15; that's because we need to play two rounds to whittle this field down to 2 survivors before the semifinal losers from round 7a get seeded in. As always, it's no big deal if games go a few days over the nominal deadline - I just like to know that people are aware of the schedule.

Dusk Eagle won our game by resignation.
A big kill sealed the game which was already almost decided.
