I have a half-decent library of go books. I was recently looking through the newspaper packing of a used go board I bought some time ago that I had kept in the shipping box, and noticed among the newpaper a small paperback book with a rice-paper-like dusk jacket.

The book is "How to Play Go Game", by Haruko Kambayashi. I don't think it's worth much, and is for true beginners, but it was fun to find a "hidden treasure" to put in the shelf with the other books. It was published in 1961, so it's not ancient, but gives the feel of being old.

Just thought I would share.

Online playing schedule: Every tenth February 29th from 20:00-20:01 (if time permits)
I have a copy of that. I never did put it up for sale primarily becuase I never got round to it. You can get it for around $5 online:

Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Yeah, I figured it wasn't worth much, and it's not even the oldest go book I own, but it was fun to find it, a little like finding buried treasure.
