HELP! Can't download CGoban

HELP! Can't download CGoban

I recently helped someone do this, but now I need help and I'm stumped.

I had been running some very old version of Java, because I had recently restored an old image to a new hard disk. This morning I installed the latest Open Office version, which updated Java to the newest version. Since then, I have been unable to run CGoban or download the application. I have deleted the software, and have removed it from the Java control panel, but I can't manage to reinstall it. :sad:

After uninstalling Java and reinstalling an older version (jre6-u19) I think I found what was causing the problem. It was my firewall, which for some reason was not allowing me to access java web start. In any case, Cgoban is working again.

Edit: Now I'm sure that the firewall was the problem. This morning I tried to start Cgoban, and my computer couldn't find java web start, so I updated java to the current version (jre6-u21) and discovered that my firewall had again blocked access to the new version. Once I allowed Java web start in the firewall (Zone Alarm) to do it's thing, Cgoban worked again normally.
