I just found this introduction area.

I have no history at GD, I just found it when it was experiencing problems, eventually managed to register there, but when I tried to make my first post it was already disabled. So I found this forum.

I'm a 40+ guy from Finland, who started playing go in the early 80's, reached 8 kyu and then had a break of almost 25 years. This February I found KGS and also joined a local club. It seems that I'm still around 8 kyu, so I guess it's like riding a bike

Glad to see you make it over here. I had similar issues when I registered for GD...was never able to post. Glad we can get the people together over here and keep this community going. Welcome!
