with the recent login issues, it got me to thinking... how can guest readers read the latest posts?
Over at our old forum, GD, the front page allowed guest and logged in users alike to do just that. But nothing like that is available here yet.

The following should work, either logged in or logged out, to give you a list of all posts made in the last day in reverse chronological order:
http://www.lifein19x19.com/forum/search.php?keywords=****&terms=any&author=&fid%5B%5D=1&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=1&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

What? We can't expect people to just know that?
I would also recommend adding some thing like this. I don't log in from work, so when I'm able to check the forums I keep having to read off last post time stamps to figure out where I need to go.

Re: reading latest posts as guest
The "View unread posts | View new posts | View your posts" can now be seen as guests. Only the "view new posts" works without logging in. Clicking on the other two will take you to a login page.
I'm thinking...

Thanks Jordus. Thought I might as well drop a comment in here and say that it is working nicely. I haven't had as much time to check this at work (it's gotten busy and can't mess around that much
