Re: Teamovitch?
Congratulations! I intend to stay up the remaining five hours ('til 4 a.m.) so that I can have a celebratory drink in your honor.
Someday I want to be strong enough to earn KGS[-].

Will get this up and running this week hopefully
Congrats, and I suggest you concentrate on honeymoon rather than teamovitch.

Re: Teamovitch?
Many thanks all of you
No honeymoon, because we can't really afford it (and it's not the same dragging young kids around for a week for some reason!). It'll happen, but the teamovitch game #10 will probably be finished by then.
Either way, I'm suggesting myself and Joaz as the first two captains because a) it was my idea to try this one, and b) it was Joaz' idea to try Malkovich in the beginning. Are there any players who don't really have time or are just as happy watching first time round so that we're down to 6 people? Also, can those that said they want to be soldiers reconfirm just so we're all here for at least the beginning.

Re: Teamovitch?
I'll re-confirm, I'd love to play. Of course, if need be, I can step aside... but it does sound like a blast.

Congratulations topazg!
I'll sign off myself, but don't worry: I will make sure to burn both captain's choices to the ground in my hidden tags

Re: Teamovitch?
I will be traveling from Thu till Tue, so if you want to start right away and keep a good pace, then I might as well step aside. Other than that, I'm still in.

Re: Teamovitch?
Ok, so soldiers currently seem to be:
tj86430 (7k)
Redundant (2k)
chew (4k)
Jordus (9k)
As soon as we have 2 more confirmations, I'll randomly seed everyone and we can get going.
Also, for a piccie: http://www.topazg.com/temp_photo.jpg

Re: Teamovitch?
Hi goceman, thanks for the interest, but the spots are all taken pending confirmation. I think chew is running a SDK-captained DDK-soldier one that still has a few slots open though
So, ben or fwiffo for the last spot?

The teams are therefore reasonably balanced hopefully. We've drawn White, and Joaz's team Black. I guess you can start as soon as you have your team's last member, though you may as well make your first two Move 1 proposals with the players you already have
Rules I'd envisaged as follows
All posts should be viewable by all members of the team, but not the opposing team. It's up to you whether you look at your team mates' posts or not, and up to the captain how much info he gives about future plans or not. The idea is to be educational and informative, not to win at all costs, so strike that balance as it suits you best. For my part I will probably respond with thoughts and potential alternative variations to consider for each of my soldier's proposals, and explain the sort of things I'm aiming for with my choice. I'm may put full expected continuations in my variations, and if I do, I'll put it in a separate hide tag with "not for the rest of my team" as the heading designed not to give anything away to my army. Otherwise, it's fairly standard Malkovich fare. Does this sound reasonable?
