Hello

Post by CountOrlok »

Hello, I just joined, and wanted introduce myself. I have been learning and playing Go, for a couple weeks now. I understand the basic rules, but I'm weak, with the opening and basic, strategy and tactics. Right now, I'm reading "Go Fundamentals" by Shigemi Kishikawa, and lots of Go information online, which has been very helpful, and I hope to learn a lot more, on this site. So far, I have only played Go programs(Because I'm probably 100 kyu ), but I joined KGS today, so I can start playing real matches, after I get a little better.

Besides Go, I really enjoy reading and collecting comics(Batman is one of my favorites :batman: ) and manga, and watching old horror(Count Orlok ) and scfi movies.

But to finish this post, I'm having a great time playing Go(I think I'm becoming addicted :D), and I'm glad found such a cool Go site.

Don't wait to join KGS till you're better. Once you've learnt the basics of fighting and life-and-death, you can already join KGS; in fact, it's better to play human vs human as soon as possible.

By the way, most of us have an account over there, so you may ask for a teaching game. My nick, as in the forum, is alejo.
