Hiiiii, everybody!

My name's Raven and I joined these forums because I want to learn to play Go! I've played it before--online--but I want to learn to play it for real. I'm hoping I can find some help here and then get playing with all of you! :)

To learn the game, ask questions. The beginner's forum is usually best for that.
Also, post your games to be reviewed in the 'game analysis' sub-forum of the 'imrove your game' forum.

Thanks for the welcome everyone :)

Hmm, I live near Baton Rouge, LA. I have looked and haven't been able to find any go clubs. :( I've thought about posting an ad in the newspaper looking for players...

Yep, I was eyeing that forum yesterday. I'll definitely post there. As for the game analysis... yikes. That could be embarrassing. But enlightening! So we'll see. Alright, I think it was a good idea to join here!

:O Thanks for looking for me! I never came across that website when I looked! I'm a little leery about meeting internet people online but I'll think about it. It would be really good to get some help in real life with the game.
