Playing with the Wiimote on TV

Post by SpongeBob »

I hooked up my laptop with the flatscreen TV in the living room and emulated the mouse via Wiimote (Remote Control for the Wii console), Bluetooth adapter and GlovePie. After enlarging fonts in the KGS settings, I can now nicely play Go in the living room in front of the TV.

Anyone else doing that? I feel that it makes me think more during play. While the moves can be accurately controlled with the Wiimote, you still have to do it carefully and so you do not place your stone as fast as with the mouse.

I'd probably misclick quite frequently. I often found it hard to be precise when aiming arrows with the Wiimote in Twilight Princess.
We don't know who we are; we don't know where we are.
Each of us woke up one moment and here we were in the darkness.
We're nameless things with no memory; no knowledge of what went before,
No understanding of what is now, no knowledge of what will be.

The KGS anti-misclick feature works quite nicely here.
