This looks fine to me. As I had nothing locally to start with, I'm willing to trade a big reduction (or potentially kill) for the bit of thickness in the center this gives.

I've given up trying to guess where white's going next. I think this is a pretty good response, but I can't know, because I have no idea what white's objective here is. Live? Seems unlikely with such a heavy play. Create aji to attack my 3 stone group in the top? Maaaybe? Seems painfully hard to win this fight as white.
I give up. I'm going to keep playing and see where it goes.
White waited too long to reduce you. I think that's fairly well established. He has invaded and is trying for some kind of result - sabaki - small life - whatever in a place that was very likely to become your points. It's natural that you gain lots while he tries this. Even if you unconditionally kill these, the cut aji may have some use to reduce the centre.
Also remember that his moves may surprise you, and your moves may surprise him. It's been known to happen.
I want to take this moment to say, I don't think white's moves are bad. I know my comments may read a bit negative, and I'm showing a lot on how good my chances are in this fight, but I don't think white's moves are bad. They are very confusing to me though, and I can't see an objective or an aim for white to shoot for. I do think white's moves will surprise me, since his last 3 moves have been surprising to me.
It may be that white feels behind, and is trying to make the game more complex. I myself have done this many times, in the hopes of finding some error, I'll play a sequence that is too complex for me to fully read, since, frankly, if I can't read it, I'm betting whoever I'm playing against can't either.
In spite of that, these aren't necessarily bad moves. They produce a lot of aji, and are hard for me to see clear answers to. The last 4 moves have made me think pretty hard before playing, so those could be considered good moves, if only in that respect.
I don't know what I would have played 4 moves ago as white, so I really can't criticize this path too much.
My opponent is also stronger than me, so it's entirely possible these moves lead to something I haven't yet seen.
I'm just lost as to what white's actual aim is.
The longer white plays here, the stronger I become in the center of my moyo, making it harder to reduce strongly. The aji created by cutting may recover some of that possibility, there are certainly going to be interesting reductions coming because of the fight here.
In some ways, white confusing me is probably good for white. I feel off balance, and am playing quite reactively. I don't dare make long term plans because I don't know if white is going to take sente and tenuki at any time, or if white is going to play this fight out and hope for aji.
The control for the game is entirely in white's hands at this point, which is never a terrible thing for white. All I can do is keep thinking hard before making my moves, and hope I don't let white slip from 'in trouble' to 'completely destroying me' in a couple moves.
Another note: Up to move 35, my comments are all now well past their prime. Most of them are useless in the context of the move, and all of them are now not influencing game, so they're open for anyone who cares to read. I'd open up some fo them after that, but 37 includes some remarks on unplayed in areas, and I hate to just skip a comment like that, so I'll hold it for another 10-15 moves.

I'm curious, did you expect this response? I ask just because it felt non-intuitive, and I didn't see it for a bit. Feel free to read any of my comments before my invasion.
As planned. Curious how he'll respond.

It was one of the many responses I considered. I honestly had no idea what your likely response was though. I'd offer a trigger, but there are a couple of paths from here, and I don't know what you're actually aiming for, so, merry hunting.

Okay, I can't look at this right now. I'm frustrated from other stuff, and if I keep failing to read this out, I'm going to resign out of frustration and apologize for wasting ya'all's time. Going to try to come back to this later, with a fresh brain. Maybe I can see SOMETHING.

I resign. Thank you very much for the game. Sorry I was getting disheartened towards the end, I've had a lot of stress from work lately, and haven't been able to play a game of go without getting really frustrated at myself. Sorry I couldn't give you a better game.

I just did a VERY generous count, and no matter what I see, it still puts me 5-10 behind. As this is as optimistic as I can see possible, I'm calling it. I resign.
Okay, I'll read one more variation. If I find something amazing, I'll wait on resigning.
I want to thank you for an amazingly fun game, and post my regrets that it ended so early. Really, the opening is all I am any good at, and reading EdLee's comments, I've discovered I made more errors than I thought in the lower left. I'm amazed it worked out as well as it did, really.
MagicWand is likely right, the lower center would probably have been a better 37.
I have to say, I didn't see Topazg's double hane tesuji in my reading at all, I'll have to work on that one. The lines he posted are quite good, and I don't know how I would have dealt with the second hane I had plans for it after hitting the head of the two stones, but I don't recall what they were, since I viewed it as an unpleasant option for white. I think I might have misread the severity of the cut after the second hane.
Thank you again, Chew, for a game that was very entertaining and made me think quite a bit.
