Any Badukworld.net users?

Post by rubin427 »

Does anyone play on Badukworld.net regularly?

There is some information about this server on Sensie's Library. But not a lot.

I'm curious to know if the server has a reasonable escaper policy. I'd also like to know which file format is used for saved games. (Or, if anyone can post a saved game, that would be great).

I realize this server requires an annual membership fee to play and is low population. To me, both of these are offset by the multi-lingual (english) client which runs almost anywhere since it's a java applet.

Certainly I don't know of any other server that advertises these features:

4. Non-glaring stones help you reduce your eye's fatigue.
8. Board and stones are the most beautiful in the world.

... and I'm always keeping an eye out for a new place to play.

Thanks.

Just go on the site, go to log in, and use the username "guest", no password. You should be able to get a feel for the server. (though you won't get to play any)

I used to watch games on this site a bit. It's okay, if a bit crazy at times. Interface is a bit too cluttered for me.
