Hullo

Post by Sevis »

Yet another new player here. Started learning to play around New Year, mostly playing on KGS, then joining a club later on.

Usually play normal games on 19x19 or 13x13, although also enjoy blitz on 9x9. Have been thinking of playing a Malkovich game, but have the feeling it's best to become an SDK first.

Nice to meet everyone. ^^

Hi, and welcome :)

Don't feel discouraged about playing a Malkovich game - have you thought about playing an "open" one? It may be a good opportunity for learning and hitting SDK anyway!

Howdy Sevis, niceta meetcha. Enjoy the forum, but feel free to ask any questions you've got! If you DO choose a Malkovich game, I recommend an open one, as it's a nice learning-focused environment.

edit: Not surprised that Topazg beat me to the punch AND stole my message =D
Someday I want to be strong enough to earn KGS[-].

Thank you, I hadn't seen the open Malkovich games -- I do have the feeling that by the end, I'll be looking back at the first moves and wondering what in the world I was thinking, but that'll probably make it all the more fun.
