Excited to follow this game. As a fellow up and coming 1k-2k player, I've been watching Loons progress for a while, and of course Kirby is well known in these Malkovich games.

Up to ya'all, but my personal 2 cents is that it helps to have the coordinates there so they're available (in case, for example, I discuss the game with a friend off of the forum). That said, it is useful, of course, to not become reliant on the coordinates, as discussion diagrams are very useful.
edit: I am also very eager to watch this game, as I've been chasing after Loons since I met him, and Kirby's such a stand-up guy.
Someday I want to be strong enough to earn KGS[-].

You have likely improved far beyond what meager increments in skill I have gained.
And, yes, we need to play again.
I'd even be willing to try and play out a Malkovich game on here with you, whenever you feel you have the time for it.
Bear in mind, though, my updates would not be quick, as I am still easing my way back into Go again after my last break.

I think if black encloses, I'll enclose too. Kobayashi not conventionally possible, Chinese -> harder to develop bottom side.

More tangentially, Marcus does bring up a relevant point. While
I plan to play boringly, I believe Kirby and I share a propensity for fighting, so I am going to err on the side of thickness rather than speed.
