Agathis (known as new Katsura) from Yutopian

Post by dankenzon »

the site says is made in South Korea

Did anybody had an experience buying this?
or what would you guess about the quality?

I think is a good piece and superior to cherrywood made goban!

I bought this same board from Yutopian about seven years ago and am very happy with it. It is built from about four sections and washed with a transparent stain that helps unify the color. The playing grid is well done and the board arrived in good shape -- no dings. I'd buy it again if I were looking for a reasonably priced 2" board.
