In 2008, when Hane Naoki won the Honinbo for the first time, he recovered from 3-0 down (to Takao Shinji), which I believe is the first time this had happened in the Honinbo (please correct me if I'm wrong).

I believe this was the first time in Honinbo, but in 1983, Cho made such a comeback against Fujisawa Shuko, and then eventually won the Honinbo. I find this rather funny, because in 1981 in an interview for the go world, he (just a bit) arrogantly said that there was nobody who would be a match for him (including Kato, Cho and Otake who's just got chrushed [Shuko's words] in Kisei 4:0. He actually said that: Takemiya seems to have gained some understanding in the game.) What a funny guy.

It seems that it's not the first time: http://www.nihonkiin.or.jp/english/topi ... 008_07.htm

My mistake, Cho made this comeback in the 7th Kisei, not in Honinbo.

If you mean a TV style broadcast, I don't know of anything. If you mean a live relay of the game moves, then I know of no websites, by IGS or Cyberoro often show games as they are being played. If you mean records, try http://igokisen.web.fc2.com/news.html.

Official site is there, but it helps to know Japanese. The igokisen site is better for English speakers.
