Does the forum support searching for an exact match, the way most searches use quotation marks? (i.e. "foo bar baz" matches only things that contain those three words in that order with nothing in between)
This isn't really a suggestion because I don't expect you to fix it--it would (I assume) be more work than it would be worth, and would require changing the core PHPBB code.

The link google cached is keyed to "the thread before thread 3992", which isn't static. But if you go into the cache and then click on the thread title, it will take you to thread 3821.
