Did anyone buy Outlet stones from Kuroki?

I just want to know how good / bad Kurokigoishi's outlet stones are. What do you think?

I'm interested in this, too. Also, I know KGT has explanations on how to calculate shipping from Japan, but I was wondering if anyone had just a general idea on the price of shipping to the US.

I did, they're beautiful. I can see the dings and scratches when I look closely at them, but from a normal distance they're so beautiful.

I also bought some and am very pleased. Some stones have sparse grain, and others might be slightly mis-shaped, but the obvious defects are minimal (at least in the set I received).

I wanted stones that are really meant to be played, and would not make me worry so much about bringing them to meetings, etc. These fit the bill (although certainly more expensive than standard glass).

I haVe never seen a negative post about KGT's services or products. Buy with confidence. Suggest you opt for the least expensive shipping method. Could take 30 days or more by ship but, if you are going to pay for air freight, you might as well buy your shell set from a local distributor.
