Post by Pippen »

Ia there a Go-software or somewhere in the net where u can have big conventioanl go boards...like 38x38 or higher? I only know 38x38 on KGS, but that's too small for me :).

MultiGo supports up to 50x50. (Because the two-letter co-ordinates had to stop at AZ :) )

Thx a lot I didn't know that. I wonder why - up to now - nobody has written a goboard-viewer. Wouldn't it be cool to see a 200x200 or 500x500 board and just play a game for like a year? Could be a fun thing esp. in forums like this one.

Remember that the number of moves goes up by size squared, so a 200x200 board is about the same as playing 110 consecutive 19x19 games... even a 50x50 is almost 7 games long.
