Ima checking this out before anything happens - the blog statement was slightly odd and went on about something quite random. Made me giggle though

Always wanted to try a database, I've never really used one before.

I tried it. My anti-virus found nothing so I installed. It doesn't work on my vista computer, but there are a few things I still need to try before I am 100% that is doesn't work on vista.

I worried about the same thing. I ran it through a cheap virus scanner, though, and didn't find anything. It's the first time I read the entire EULA, too. He mentions not being responsible for loss of data a couple of times, but maybe that's just standard EULA talk...

Anyway, it works fine for me so far. I'm running it on a VM anyway, so if it screws anything up, it's not really a big deal for me.

Works correctly on Vista.
I had to add an exception for DEP for the setup program. How to do it is described in the manual on the moyogo page. The exception is needed not only for AMD cpu's but Intel as well.

Ah you are right. It does work on vista. Just run the setup file as an administrator.

Here's instructions for Vista:

In Explorer, right click "Computer". Choose properties.
Click "Advanvced system settings".
Choose the "Advanced" tab.
In Performance section, click "Settings".
In "Performance Options" dialog, choose "Data Execution Prevention" tab.
Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:"
Click "Add..." button. Browse to the "Setup2009.exe" program (the main install).
Select Open, ok, apply or whatever it takes. You will be prompted to restart the computer.
Restart computer.
Start the Setup2009.exe program.
Install away...

You might need to add the databases as exceptions as well if you are going to install those. I haven't tried those so I don't know.

Hi,

works on Windows 7 64 bit.

What you can try as well:
Right click Setup2009.exe, choose properties, select tab compatibility and
choose Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and say OK. Installation and starting MoyoGo
should then be no problem. Choosing compatibility mode Windows XP (Service Pack 3) instead might work as well.
Uninstall MoyoGo before you do that.
(Right clicking Setup2009.exe and choosing treatment of compatibility problems will do pretty much the same
thing.)
