Questions for those with Bamboo Boards, bonus: Slate & Shell
I like the look of the bamboo boards. The price is pretty nice too...
How are they on Slate & Shell?
Is the board too hard for the shell stones?
How does the board sound (esp the 5cm thick board)?
Thanks! I'm currently using a warped Ing board with my S&S!!

Re: Questions for those with Bamboo Boards, bonus: Slate & S
They're pretty good with S&S.
The board is pretty hard, on the surface. I wouldn't go slamming stones down. Though end-on, it is softer.
The sound is great, imo. There's a lot of 'clack' to a bamboo board, especially a finished one.
Also, bamboo boards are heavy. Keep that in mind if you plan on transporting.
