Joaz and I finally played a game, and I won by resign.

Araban's nice visual pairing chart is unofficial, but it is accurate, right? So I am to play lefuet next round?

UPPER BRACKET PAIRINGS - ROUND 5

Code: Select all

Shadonra vs Laman
Kodomo vs Lefuet
Venkman vs Lindentree
Lavalamp vs Redundant

@Herman, MW, Araban, and Ez4u: You guys are up next round, playing the winners of the games scheduled above.

LOWER BRACKET PAIRINGS - ROUND 5

Code: Select all

Lorill     vs Teracotta
Jtscarry   vs Dusk Eagle
Marcus     vs Aphelion
Kirby      vs Psychee
LiKao      vs Stalkor
CSamurai   vs Bilapidate
Oren       vs QuantumF
Karaklis   vs GreenDemon

@Aphelion: It was noble of you to offer to wait for your opponent, but we can't all wait for him. You have a win by forfeit.
@Csam: See your PM box.
@Karaklis: We haven't forgotten you, we just lost you on the chart.
@Greendemon: Karaklis is currently masquerading as 'bye'. He is the one who has beaten the other byes.
@Everyone: sorry about the delay, got medical complications that slow me down now and then.

Can't wait! :rambo:

Oh, BTW, could you put my rank at 4d? There's a nice symmetry to having four 4d players in the final group. Plus, I've been playing like crap lately.

If we're talking about the next rounds already, how do people feel about slightly increased time limits? Something like 10 moves in 8 minutes would be a lot less stressful than 10 in 5.

As TD, I have no problem if both players agree to a slightly longer time. But, since people signed up under certain announced conditions, I'm not going to unilaterally change the rules. If one player wants to change and the other does not, we stay with the default.

I could put you at 4K if you wish. But it won't change the pairings. ;-)

Hi Kivi,

you are Kodomo and we are to play next?
I live at gmt+1. Next possibility for me is probably saturday at 18 clock or later. Maybe on sunday or some time in the week.
When would you like to play? When do you have usually time?

looking forward to playing you,
lefuet.

Shaddy vs Laman is scheduled on Saturday 10th, 1800 Prague time (GMT+1)
Spilling gasoline feels good.

I might be wrong, but probably not.
