Re: Kuchinashi Tournament (1k-3k)
Game 2 goes to RedStick in a very close game, thanks to blunders on both sides. With the series tied at 1, we'll have to schedule a final match to decide the winner.

Re: Kuchinashi Tournament (1k-3k)
Me and Osvaldo will be playing our second game this sunday at 8pm gmt+1 on KGS in the 19x19 room. I will post the SGF here afterwards.
I am currently leading 1-0 so Dave will have to win the next one to stay in the winners bracket.
Gonna be a tense game, feel free to come watch it if you so desire.

Re: Kuchinashi Tournament (1k-3k)
my series with otaku viking is now 1-1, this was our second game:
By move 125 I was quite a bit behind, and I would really appreciate it if stronger players could point out my mistakes.. was move 8 too submissive? was move 66 premature? should 86 be at c8? anything else?
In the end, I was able to make some things happen and turn the game around..

Re: Kuchinashi Tournament (1k-3k)
I'm very sorry, but I need to withdraw. I have been dealing with some major work stuff (for bad reasons), and my free time has gotten significantly more busy as well (for mostly good ones). Sorry to be flaky.
Someday I want to be strong enough to earn KGS[-].

So this knocks us down to an 8 person tournament. Which is pretty respectable.
Lovely. You will play the winner of the osvaldo v. otaku series.
Nikolas. Congrats. You get another win in the losers bracket over chew terr.
Marcus and I will try to finish up our series soon. It's been mardi gras down here so I've been MIA from the rest of life for the past week.

Re: Kuchinashi Tournament (1k-3k)
hey otakuviking (and other tournament participants),
do you mind if we play the final match of our round around march 20th?..
I am currently travelling in Brazil and have very limited internet access..
if the organizers deem this is too much of a delay, then ill understand if im disqualified.
all the best,
dave

What happened to this tournament?
I know I share responsibility for not setting up my own game, too.
Are we still going? Who's still around?

Re: Kuchinashi Tournament (1k-3k)
As far as I can tell, some people resigned, and a ton of games still have to be played.
