The original thread on Godiscussion was by Hikaru79. Since the forum moved to a new location and the last time I checked on that old thread, a number of photos link were already broken, I think it's time to create a new one ^^.

I already made a search on forum to see if a post like this already existed and I could not find any but I could be wrong so I am sorry if this is a duplicate post of an already posted thread. If it's the case, feel free to merge my post with the existing one. Thanks

So again the goal to post real pictures of ourselves is partially kind of fun: to see how the people we have always imagined just through their forum threads; and also to recognize familiar faces in Go events ^^.

As Hikaru79 san stated once, it's cool if your picture is related to go .

Last note: please do resize your pictures within the range of resolution: 640x480 so it wont break the frame of forum.

I will start it first then ^^.

It was, except for the large group of mine that is conspicuously missing from the bottom of the board =D. See all those black stones by his tupperware lid? White is a friend of mine who tends to play peaceful games, though. That was the last game against him where I got handicap stones (I got four or five). My opponent was an endgame monster, nearly catching up despite my every effort to keep things simple and easy.

About a month later, at the next tournament, I was matched against him at no komi. It will be a long time before I win against him again =D

In the first Malkovich game between he and Magicwand, it was suggested that their styles reminded someone of Doug and whatshisname from the same cartoon. So both of them, after the game, started using those characters as their avatars.

Yeah, after we finished the first game, I read Araban's comment here: viewtopic.php?p=5446#p5446, and it cracked me up, so I changed my avatar. Magicwand must have also been amused, because he also changed his avatar.

In addition to that, though, at the time that these pictures were taken, I was overweight (I guess I still am a bit heavier than I'd like to be), especially standing next to the pros
