#denvergo, other cities, and Twitter

Hey all,
I've been trying (in a pretty low-key way so far) to promote the #denvergo tag on Twitter to try and build some more awareness of local the local go scene. Has anyone else had success (or even tried) to do something like this in their individual metro areas? Or is the cross-pollination between go players and twitter users just too small in any given city to keep something like this active/alive?

I didn't notice this before, but I'm also not on twitter. I'll be hosting a go club on the last tuesday of every month, but there is a coffee shop in Denver that often has a few go players at 6th avenue and Washington called Pablos.
