Things to do while listening to music

Post by Jedo »

I really enjoy listening to music on my computer but the problem is... I need to be doing something else at the same time. Sometimes I'll watch KGS, but then the music gets distracting... anyone have recomendations of time wasters that go well with music?

Classical music ! Frédéric Chopin from Poland is the best. Even in hikaru no go was borowed his nocturne. I hardly recommend.

It's not a time waster, but coding and Infected Mushroom seem to go rather well together for some reason.

Learn to listen to music giving it your full attention. Good music deserves it. Then you won't need or be able to do other stuff at the same time.

But this requires that people listen to good music. And Sturgeon's law applies here too.

Easy go problems. Plenty of problems that are easy enough to solve while distracted are still helpful. Then again, I often listen to music while playing on kgs. But stuff like most serene republic is nice, while not distracting

I LOVE to code to Infected Mushroom!
When I need a break from that I turn to some baroque music.

I used to stay up until 4 AM, if not all night long, writing papers in college. In the early morning, I'd take a break and hit up a friend for music, sometimes good, sometimes bizarre (that's how I found out about the wiggles, fruit salad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gB4MNu6W9sg), but that's how I first encountered Infected Mushroom's shakawkaw.

I enjoy cooking, eating, and driving while listening to music (though not all four at the same time  ). But normally, I just sit back and listen, mainly to Radiohead.
We don't know who we are; we don't know where we are.
Each of us woke up one moment and here we were in the darkness.
We're nameless things with no memory; no knowledge of what went before,
No understanding of what is now, no knowledge of what will be.
