Children's pseudo-go

Post by Ferran »

In one of Nick Sibicky's videos (maybe one at US Go Congress?) he mentions a game that has a monster you have to grow / surround, if I understood that right. He didn't remember the name of the game. Any of you know if it's this one?

Thanks.

This reminds me a bit of surround and counter-surround. Though, in Go the monster materializes from the vapor. At first one sees only the vapor, but then clumps of liquid appear and before you know it the monster has taken on a solid form.

Or is it like making cheese? Start with the milk and after some fermentation clumps of solid material begin to form. In the end one ends up with just the solid block of curd and the liquid whey.
