Volume 3 of The Road to Understanding Japanese (RUJ3) has just been released. This completes the series, which is aimed at readers who have worked through volumes 1 and 2 or have otherwise achieved a good level of reading Japanese go problem books.

I'm happy to see this book still in development. I've taken a break from studying Japanese but I found the "Just Enough Japanese" introduction series to be very helpful and I also read though a bit of Road to Understanding Japanese 1 but I was getting beyond my skill.
I may not know much Japanese but I feel comfortable "reading" Tsumego answers and diagrams. The hints/prompts are much more difficult for me to read but they are not essential to learning.
Maybe I will get back on the road soon.
