Trip to Japan this summer

Post by Ferran »

Hi, guys. Sorry I've been away.

Several things have finally clicked and I'll be for a while in Japan, formally joining my Koryû. I *should* have some free mornings, and I'd like to ask a couple of questions:

* Do any of you know of a Go café near Sakura, Chiba? Related, I seem to recall some singer had opened a chain of go cafés that was more relaxed, and less smoky, than usual. Are those still alive? Where were they?

* I'd like to find some items. Probably at least some of the books in "An Outline of Modern Go" and "An Outline of Japanese Go". Do you know if they're any easy to find? Or something like a current price? My understanding is that they've been out of print for quite a while.

Thank you. Take care.

PS: Also... I might have to buy some fûrin...

As for out of print go books the best place is here: https://en.jimbou.info/bookstores/ab0001/ This has contact info for Akashiya Shoten, the best used go book store. It is in Tokyo so ...
