Portable Go?

Post by Hēphaistos »

My post in my other thread (here), inspired me to purchase a folding go board as well. Anyone know what type of carrying bags (over the shoulder) are ideal for the game board, and two plastic containers containing the stones?

This won't help you too much but I ended up making my own go bag out of felt, glue, and thread. I glued white felt to black felt and stitched two pieces together and included a draw string. The white felt was for the bag "liner" and the black felt was for the outside. The go set is one of those small Japanese magnetic sets in which the bowls are stored inside the set when it is folded.

If you don't like anything that Yellow Mountain has and prefer the DYI method, I'd check out some camera bags and see what their inserts/shapes/sizes are.
