Hello

Post by nedpatrick »

Hello everyone,

I've been playing all types of board games since I was 6. I've tried to teach myself go a few time to no success. A friend of mine recently walked me through a few games and I'm trying to improve. I'm currently at the frustrated beginner stage. My handle on dragongoserver.net, KGS, and IGS is nedpatrick. I hope to get some good tips from this site.

Welcome to the boards, and my first suggestion is to play on KGS when you want a real time game.

Welcome, both to the forum and the game!

The most essential part of improving in the beginning is to keep playing as many games as possible. If you keep grinding away you will soon get past the frustrated beginner stage and into the frustrated expert stage.

On KGS you should check out the Beginner's Room and the KGS Teaching Ladder.
