Ju-Yeon 8p teaching in Stockholm

Post by henric »

Since a couple of weeks, Ju-Yeon Ko 8p is teaching at the Stockholm go club. In this period she comments a new pro game every thursday starting at 18.00, every sunday starting at 13.00. Following the game commentary she is available for play and individual comments. She is also available for private teaching appointments at other times. Teaching is in english. On weekends when there is a tournament nearby, there might be fewer people at the club and Ju Yeon is likely to be teaching at the tournament instead.

The Stockholm club ( http://stockholm.goforbundet.se/home/english/ ) meets on thursday evenings and sunday afternoons. In principle participants may be asked to pay about 10 euro annual fee, but most likely this can be avoided in the case of casual visitors. The club is found in the central part of the city, Pipersgatan 26, about 10 minutes walk from the central station: http://maps.google.se/maps?f=q&source=s ... ll=61.6063

So if you are going to be in the neighborhood, please pay us a visit at the Stockholm Club!

best regards,
Henric

A nice location this "grottan"- visited today.

Not many players, though, but their niceness compensated that.

You could try to arrange an "enkelbiljett" för tourists visiting Stockholm; although in the end I did not need to register as a new member.

... and tomorrow heading back home.

The reason why there were few players is that we had a tournament in Västerås
in the weekend, where Ju-Yeon also attended, teaching.
Normally there are now about 20 club players on thursdays and a little less on
sundays. There are usually at least a couple of 4d-5d players at the club, as well
as the whole range from beginners.
