Speading Go in Africa, NewInGo reports

Post by TMark »

The latest installment of NewInGo is now up on our webpage (just look for the NewInGo link) about efforts being made to spead Go, and other Mind Sports, in Uganda.

Best wishes.

If all of Africa yields only 1000 go players, that would still be a great enrichment for go outside of east Asia.

If all the mancala players of Africa would play go, too ... that's a nice dream to have.

That's pretty cool. I spent a good chunk of my childhood in Uganda and I'm pretty sure I recognise the front of that building on the first page.
