asking for a good go database

I usually use DraGo's database system to search pattern and it was very handy. however, I usually can't open directly the games from the list DraGo gives (containing game with pattern I input).

is there any database for go? the one that we can input our games and search through patterns or players name?

Have a look at kombilo.

It seems that Drago uses it as a library, but it also has a full user interface where you can do searches, add games to your library and play through the games.

I also like the "guess next move" feature when replaying through the games.

I would recommend SmartGo. I've also heard GoGoD is excellent, but haven't tried it (yet). SmartGo also has a "guess the next move" feature, and inputting your games to compare with pro games is easy and enjoyable (and of course you can analyze parts of your games for local joseki analysis and so forth). Tons of features that I've only begun to scratch the surface, well worth the price.

http://mastergo.com/mastergo/ (that is what i use) has a really convenient user interface. The included database contains 50k+ games. One can add to it (but not export games from the native database) or use it with another database as well. And it can handle .ngf files (from WBaduk). However it is designed for fuseki and joseki study not as a database for statistical research (there are not much options to search and sort for the specific games with properties other than the moves of the game itself and no 2guess the next move"-type features).
