I'd like to visit the restaurant at the top of the Gherkin, but it is private, for members and guests. Do you know anybody who works/lives/has_membership at the Gherkin?
Thanks
JB
EDIT: The primary tenant is the insurance company Swiss Re. So if you know anybody who works for them, it could help.

The famous chef Gary Rhodes has a restaurant high up in the City's tallest building, Tower 42, nearby. You get a perfect view of the Gherkin from there at about the same level. It's not quite the same thing but the food is probably better. There are security checks on the ground floor and it can look like a scene from Men in Black, but it's worth it. You'll probably need to book.I'd like to visit the restaurant at the top of the Gherkin, but it is private, for members and guests. Do you know anybody who works/lives/has_membership at the Gherkin?

Thanks, John, that is on my short list of backups. Indeed, it is the backup. But it is only 24th floor vs 40th.John Fairbairn wrote:...

Alternatively, you could become a member for the low low price of only £1200 (£900 per year plus a £300 joining fee).
