I have just installed wegoigo (for android) and I am trying to find SGF files to practice life and death problems.
Are there any archives of free problems available for download?

When you do tsuego on a computer or anything similar, try to read as much as possible in your mind and not just trying the sequences in the editor.

Thanks for the tip, the problem is that you have to be a paid member to download any SGF files.
I was hoping to get some freely available files before jumping into purchasing them.

Unfortunately the file provided doesn't seem to work for me. I've only ever been able to get a corrupted copy which doesn't unpack correctly.

There may be some alternatives (that you don't have to pay for). Could depend on both your principles (willing to use software that isn't free/open software) and the difficulty level of problems you need.

Example (not sure if this is still true, but you can check) MFOG is not free BUT the demo version is free of charge << if you pay, you can upgrade that to the full version >> Well the demo version will play ~17 kyu and I think it includes the "easy" problem set in a "flashcard" like system << the ones you got wrong reappear at a higher frequency than ones you got right >>
