My go club is looking to buy a new demo board with a stand. We actually already have a board, but the stand that we had for it disappeared. So, we need either a new stand that can support our current board and stones or a whole new set.
I've considered just getting an easel. But, I've had a hard time finding anything sturdy enough to hold our heavy board, let alone anything with wheels and a place to put the stones.
What I would really like is something like this, but that store wants us to buy at least 10 of them, and we certainly don't need 10 demo boards, nor can we afford that many. I haven't been able to find any other demo boards with stands for sale online. Any ideas?
Where to buy a demo board?

Quick google search reveals draper 995 and testrite ccs-1 or ccs-2 the matter two being fairly inexpensive. You'll need to fashion something for holding stones. I can't confirm anything about suitability or stability.

its too bad you can't work out a deal for 10 or more clubs together, maybe through the aga somehow.

"order a sample" appears to let you buy 1. I can't tell what the price increase is, because I didn't make an account.

Re: Where to buy a demo board?
The Nihon Ki-in in Japan sells demo boards and stands. Actually they are sold through the department store Rakuten, but on behalf of the Ki-in. Here is a link to the Nihon Ki-in's online shop page for demo boards:
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/nihonkiin/c/0000000110/
And here is the listing for just the stand:
http://item.rakuten.co.jp/nihonkiin/028j/
The listed price for the stand alone is 21000 yen, which would be somewhere around $220 not including shipping.

If you replace the whole set, send us the old one.
I should you want to look for a professional or school-style wooden painting easel.
