When I have played a game I often go to MoyoGoStudio afterwards and see for a certain position in fuseki or pattern in middle game how professionals have played this. This often gives great insight into what possibilities are available and what results can be expected.
For this kind of analysis, a huge database and the possibility to search for patterns is needed. Is such an application available for the iPad? I am not sure if SmartGo Kifu can meet those requirements. It does come with a medium size database of 30.000 games - is it possible to import the content of the GoGoD database? What about the search capabilities?
Or are there other tools? In the german reviews of SmartGo Kifu on the AppStore someone mentions other tools with over 100000 games and search capabilities, but I couldn't find anything.

It's called XGoo HD. It is a fuseki searching app with an access to a huge online database, it also allows you to watch new pro matches.
Sample screenshot attached.
It is nothing like moyogo/kombilo. You can't look for local pattern, only full board positions, and it just do a search and present you games with fuseki you set (but with no indication for following moves nor any statistics are presented). It's a simple app but I found it quite useful.

I haven't used moyogostudio, but GoGoD is just sgf files, so almost any program should be able to use it.

@emeraldemon
This is about iPad software not PC (also even if you have large database you need an app to do all "search magic").
