New AGA website -- page not found

Initially and on the surface the new website looks nice and all... but its so full of page not found errors

a lot of the old information is just gone. I hope someone has a backup somewhere.

almost anything under the old tournaments area...

but let's just walk the tree...
tick open Tournaments (from the left side menu panel) -> Major Tournaments
click Fujitsu Cup --> under Current Tournament visit the link for tournament page (or any of the links in the table)

there are many, many more tournament links that missing or inaccessable

It does seem that some (many?) the tournament pages got published without the sgf files being transferred. We still have the old files so it can get fixed. I would recommend sending anything you see like this to the AGA webmaster account so it can be dealt with. It will probably take a couple weeks to weed all these out, the site was massive and in some unfortunate timing I am on vacation this week.

It seems that the aga board minutes are missing once again. Nothing posted since February. How can people know what is happening and make an educated vote for a representative without being able to read these minutes?

Nothing posted since February because:

a) no secretary to help with compiling the minutes for the board
b) there have been no minutes from the board to the members

It's been two months since they posted requesting a secretary, and it's been mentioned on L19. Apparently no one is able to commit. So I think we can blame ourselves for this one.

I'd recommend posting again in the E-journal, however. Probably most people have forgotten by now.

Anyone else know any pages with broken links, or missing info, or whole missing pages? I'm one of the lackeys that did a lot of work on the new site (mostly the design), and I'm making a list of pages/sections that need help.

So far I know:
- the former /tournaments/ pages are pretty bare and some are missing
- the old Yearbook CDs I don't think got transferred
- some of the downloadable material either didn't get transferred or isn't linked correctly

We still have access to the old site for now, so nothing is gone yet. The sooner we can deal with any of this, the better though.
