Classic Go Games: Nominate your favorite game for analysis

I'll start things off by nominating Game 1 of the Kamakura Jubango (Kitani Minoru (B) vs. Go Seigen (W) 1939)

How about either game 2 or game 3 of the 1983 Kisei title, Cho Chikun vs. Fujisawa Shuko (or really any game in this series)? 1983 was when Cho finally brought an end to Fujisawa's 6 year dominance of this title (though doing so took the full 7 games). Alternatively, if someone wants to point me to an English commentary that exists on his series I'd love to see it.

There is already an excellent English commentary of this is John Fairbairn's book 'Kamakura'. Wouldn't it be more efficient to comment new games?

And then again, it might be quite interesting to compare two commentaries, I think. I’ll never forget the amazing experience of parallel reading three different translations (into German) of Lao Tse/Lau Dse/Lao Tsu/[…] him his Tao Te King/Dao De Jing/[…]. After that I could never really trust in any single translation of texts in an Asian language anymore

Fairbairn's commentaries are, I think, based on several Japanese commentaries. I would be interested to see the Korean take on the game for comparison. And, since the game is a great masterpiece no commentary will exhaust what there is to learn.

You can run into this problem even translating languages as similar as English, French, and German.

I would rather see something where there isn't a high-quality english commentary immediately available.

Any game from Huang Longshi, or Jowa vs. Gennan Inseki would be great.

John Power: "The games of Fujisawa Shuko" has commentaries of all seven games (and the earlier six matches) in English. Well worth the money available at least on Smartgo books on iPad and also on paper, I think.
