Sugiuchi vs. Fujisawa in Honinbo Sen
No, this is not a blast from the past. From Go Weekly, last week (Jan. 17th) 85-year-old Sugiuchi Kazuko played 14-year-old Fujisawa Rina in the preliminary tournament for the Women's Honinbo. The 71-year age difference was possibly a record for the ladies. Fujisawa won and qualified for the main tournament.
