Does Apple security update disable KGS?
Apple just released a security update which is supposed to disable Java. Does anyone know if this only affects the web applets, or if it affects the Java client. If the latter, installing it would disable KGS (a risk I am not willing to take). The web applet is not a big deal (it doesn't run now anyway) but I totally need the KGS client. This is a question for Apple computers, not tablets or iphones.

For me, on OSX 10.7.5, with all the updates installed, KGS client is running fine. (Maybe you will be prompted to install the latest Java 7 software manually)

Some people are having troubles, some aren't. We have a thread going on the cGoban problem.
